Historic Traditional Charm

This home has beautiful bones and the homeowner loves antiques. In the living room, we were able to work with some pieces that they already own and add custom drapery, a custom upholstered ottoman, art, pillows, and accessories to help the room sing as a comfortable spot for reading or hosting guests.

The homeowners needed an accessible bathroom and bedroom for aging parents. We gutted the original dark, dated bathroom and refreshed it with a walk-in shower, accessible toilet, and new vanity. The space has a “walk through” closet that we made interesting and moody with a deep blue hue, vintage chest and mirror, and an antique rug that coordinates with the attached luxury bedroom. The antique four-poster bed with custom bedding and luxury linens welcomes guests to stay a while! 

We also designed two bedrooms for their grown son and daughter. In “his” room we used a dark navy hue to envelop the room and layered in custom drapery, vintage art, an antique four-poster bed, again with custom bedding and luxury linens. “Her” room is a light, bright sweet space with vintage-inspired custom linens and drapery, a beautiful antique chest, and botanical art.
